Hello Templeton Run Club!! I hope everyone has remained happy and healthy over these last few months! It’s been fun following Templeton Run Club members on Strava. Love seeing everyone sticking with it!

Speaking of challenges, several of us hit the 100 mile mark for April! Some without even trying…ahem…Tony…and I’m so incredibly proud of us!! I’m also excited to see so many (old and new) runners getting back into it!!
Whether you’re an essential worker, been working at home, have been furloughed or unemployed, this has been an incredibly difficult time for all of us. It’s inspiring to see how many of us are standing up to these challenges and having the grit and determination to get through them in style!
We’re hoping that we can start meeting up again Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for group runs after the Shelter in Place order for the county is lifted in May. Keep checking the calendar and Instagram for more information as this is an evolving process and we want to be sure everyone stays as healthy as possible.
In the meantime, we’re planning a (socially distant) Templeton Ultra 50k Relay May 9th. Club members… (that sounds very official but just sign and send me the waiver and BAM!! you’ll be an official member!) ...club members will sign up for a leg of the run and start at the beginning of their section at 8am. There are 8 legs for a total of 32 miles. Legs can be combined if you want to tackle a bigger section or split between friends. Each leg can be run or walked. It’s all about having fun and doing something together but still apart. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
