Happy 4th of July!!

Hello Friends!

Happy 4th of July!! It has been so much fun running with you all again!! I’m so grateful for where we live and the countless options we have for beautiful and scenic running routes. As always, if you have a favorite route that you’d like to run, let us know and we’ll be sure to include it!

The July calendar is out! Check it out on the website, Strava or Meetup. (Be sure to bring a waiver if you haven't filled one out and RSVP on Strava or Meetup for the runs you plan on attending.)

On July 25th, we’ll head down to Morro Bay for the Virtual Brian Waterbury Rock to Pier 10k!…and half marathon for those interested in hoofing it back to the rock! (Be prepared to follow social distancing guidelines...separate vehicles, starting at least 6 feet apart, no large groups, etc.) We’ll also start training this month for the City to the Sea Half marathon and 5k scheduled for September 13th. Join our team!! You can sign up here under Templeton Run Club! We’re hoping they won’t have to postpone or cancel, but if they do, we’ll plan our own (socially distant) fun run. If you need help with a training plan, let us know! Nicole and I are both RRCA Certified Adult Distance Running Coaches and would love to help you out! You can email me at rosaliesmith@templetonrunclub.com and Nicole at ncanby24@yahoo.com.

We’ll also start training this month for a 20 mile fun run in October. We’ll start from the park in Templeton and take Santa Rita Road into Cayucos. We’ll have more information as the time gets closer and have an idea of how many runners want to join us. We’re considering options for a half marathon, 10miler, or relay. Let us know if you want to participate!

In other news, our shirts and tank tops are in!! We have a small selection of sizes so if you’d like one shoot me an email! ($15 bucks each.) We’re planning on ordering sweatshirts for the fall so if we don’t have your size right now, we can always add it to an order later on. (The ladies shirts run small but the rest are true to size.)

Please feel free to reach out with any questions! If you’re a new runner, or an old runner that’s starting over, we welcome you to come along!

Happy Running!
